Brand Story

We are a non-profit started by international relations analysts and educators, so the globe represents our starting point.  The spade represents our focus on skill and expertise. A spade is traditionally associated with card games like poker, spades, or hearts. Just like political analysis, these games require the development of specific skills and ultimately expertise for real understanding - and yet, even with that, there will always be an element of luck or surprise!
